Players can gain EP by helping the guild in a variety of ways. There are two forms of EP that can be given:
Official EP is earned by attending a scheduled guild event. Ten EP are awarded for every hour the event runs. Guild events include the following:
25 Man PvE raids
Premade Battleground/Arena PvP events
World PvP raids
World Boss raids
With the exception of World Boss raids (due to their impromptu nature), all official events will be announced ahead of time and require pre-registration.
If an official event would be overbooked, benched players (see ) will receive standby EP by remaining online and available for the duration of the event. These players will receive the same EP as those attending.
Progression EP
Should the Officers call raid prior to end time, full EP (3 hours) will be awarded to all raiders in party.
Farm EP
Once content is on farm, if raids take fewer than the full 3 hours, full EP (3 hrs) will be awarded to all raiders in party at the conclusion of the night.
Bonus EP is earned by participating in player-run activities or performing a guild-sponsored initiative. This EP is awarded weekly, and the amount rewarded will depend on the activity or initiative. At the conclusion of a bonus activity, to be credited EP, exactly one player must file an "EP Report" describing the activity.
Anyone can start a bonus EP activity. Just invite your guildmates!
Ways to Earn TIME SPENT Bonus EP
Dungeon Runs, Guild Group Events & 10 man PvE Raids - 1 EP/hr
This covers most cases where guild members are partying up for the benefit of more than one person in the party. If the activity was performed for the benefit of just one person (someone being boosted), the person being helped will not receive EP.
World PvP/Premade BG's & Arenas - 1 EP/hr
This covers any case in which players are grouping outside of official events for PvP.
Raid Loggers Delight (EXTRA Guild Bank Donation - 1EP/25g)
For shitters er... raid loggers, you can donate gold in lieu of time by using the "Extra Donations -1EP/25g" option on the form. All donations should be deposited directly into the guild bank or mailed in-game to Alphauterus.
How to Earn WEEKLY DONATION Bonus EP
Deposit 25g into the guild bank once weekly, and you'll be eligible for 5 EP. This exists to help fund professions, consumables and other items we want to help provide to guild members. All donations should be deposited directly into the guild bank or mailed in-game to Alphauterus.
This bonus can only be redeemed once per week, and does not count towards the weekly “Time Spent” bonus EP limit.
How to Earn WEEKLY RAID CONSUMES Bonus EP
The use of a Flask/Elixir or other high cost consumables in raid will net you 1 EP per raid with a cap of 2EP per week. If you are involuntarily benched for raid, you will automatically be given this EP bonus!
In addition to our weekly opportunities, there may be a couple of one-time ways to gain EP. These are not affected by the Bonus EP cap. We will post updates in the announcements channel should any special initiatives arise!
Recruitment - 15 EP per Level 70 recruited
Players can earn this bonus by referring players for recruitment. The bonus will be applied when the trial has been promoted to Member or Raider status. This activity may be restricted depending on changing guild needs. Contact an officer if you have anyone in mind!
