Exceptions to EPGP

Are any items reserved?

Loot Reservations

We want to try to ensure that coveted and beneficial items stay in the guild and with our long-term raiders. As such the following items will be distributed as follows:

Dragonspine Trophy

  • Azzboy

  • TotemTud

  • Tongie

Warglaive of Azzinoth

  • Tonkypoo

  • TBD

Utility Gear

Having geared utlity players is incredibly important for progression and raid composition. As such, any loot that is being awarded as an Off Spec roll will be first prioritized to a raider that has been designated as a utility player for the raid's benefit and success. We will announce this ahead of loot distribution and ensure no raiders need the item for Main Spec.

Our current Utility Radiers are:

  • Buttmouth (flex all specs)

  • Winota (flex all specs)

  • Sibrith (flex tank)

  • Danktankk (flex heals)

  • Annondorf (flex elemental)

  • Azzboy (flex tank)

Legendary Items

Given their rarity and difficulty to obtain, we will also handle legendary items outside of the EPGP system.

Rare Recipes

The first time a rare formula/recipe/pattern drops in raid, we will manually assign it to someone likely to remain in the guild for it's lifetime, usually someone in the officer core. After that, it will be a free roll among any non-trial with 300 skill in that profession.

PUGs in Raids

In exceptional circumstances, it may be necessary to allow PUG players into raid. In these cases, when an item drops, all players who want the item will roll a d100 for it. If someone in our guild wins the roll, we will apply EPGP rules and priority as normal. Otherwise, the PuG will win it.

When a PuG wins an item, all PUGs in that class will be ineligible for roll for another item until a class member in the guild receives one. This will continue to alternate so long as loot drops for that class.

World Bosses

Due to their extreme rarity, items dropped from world bosses will be free rolled. MS > OS will still apply.
